Learning for Today’s World

Making world-renowned STEM education accessible to all young learners in Greece.

ABOUT US

A nonprofit organization, Mathisi Initiative was founded in 2019 by volunteers sharing a passion for learning and exploring today’s fast evolving world. Its mission is to provide pre-high school students with local and affordable access to programs of internationally recognized excellence and relevance, to foster independent and curious learners, critical and creative thinkers, and problem-solving young adults engaged in the world.

We seek academically-rigorous programs designed for young learners, which promote inquiry-led and problem-solving learning, and which reflect today’s scientific and technological knowledge.

We develop collaborations with originators and educators to facilitate their local adaptation and deployment. Through these multiple collaborations, we aim to provide access to school-age learners regardless of their prior academic levels, economic means and location.
